spotlight dance studio

• All dance shoes should be purchased at Spotlight.  We will have shoes in the lobby and can order your child’s size if we are out.  
• Dancewear- you are welcome to purchase items in our store or from anywhere else 
• All students should have hair pulled up and out of their face during every class.  Please no clips as these can be dangerous if doing any flips.  
• Bags- please make sure bags only contain dancers shoes and water bottle.  All water bottles should be able to fall over without spilling.  Please no juice or other drinks (you never know when they will spill and because bags are stacked in cubbies in goes onto others items)
• All leotards are allowed to have dance tutus, fitted shorts, or built in shorts. 

Thursday morning toddler class: ballet shoes, leotard, tights 

Ballet, Jazz, and Tap Combo: ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz shoes (preschool classes do not need jazz shoes),  leotard, tights 

Ballet and Jazz Combo: ballet shoes, jazz shoes, leotard, tights 

Tap: tap shoes, leotard (or dance top and fitted shorts/leggings), socks or tights

Lyrical: lyrical shoes, leotard (or dance top and fitted shorts/leggings)

Contemporary: leotard (or dance top and fitted shorts/leggings), may wear a loose shirt covering leotard/shorts/leggings 

Hip Hop: sneakers and comfortable clothing that they can dance freely in, no jeans or dresses 

Musical Theater: comfortable clothing that they can dance freely in, no jeans or dresses

Tumbling: leotard (or dance top and fitted shorts/leggings)
